Jaela's 5th Birthday Party! I don't know how it happened, but we've managed to keep this kid alive now for half a decade! We had a great little party in Kent, with her best girl friends (flu bug kept the boys at home), grandparents & auntie from Smithers & Grandma from Arizona. Obviously, she had a Puppy Party, so they ate out of dog dishes and had this 'Kooky Chew' stuff for dessert that looked exactly like dog food. Smithers Gma & Auntie Mallory made the cake again this year - thanks guys!

Kent eh! Almost Live used to make fun of Kent the way we make fun of Surrey. Is it true? Is Kent the Surrey of Washington State?

Wow - good memory! Kent has improved - now it's more like the Bur-quitlam of the Seattle area. :) Y'know - they still play AL here and it's more hilarious now that I know what the heck they're talking about. (I swear I saw the "High-5-ing White Guys" downtown this weekend!)
